Hosted by CBA Real Property North in Edmonton from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm on June 17, 2020

I originally wasn't going to post a notice of this webinar because it was originally meant for real estate practitioners, but when I assembled the slides this weekend I ended up doing a lot of research into a few issues which might interest family law lawyers, such as applications to dispense with dower and situations where exemptions placed into joint property aren't halved because of evidence of a contrary intention (I've also created a new form for real estate practitioners to address this).

Speaker:

Ken Proudman

Barr Picard Law

Topic:

"What real estate practitioners need to know about family law and the new Family Property Act."

*Complimentary to All CBA Alberta Branch Members Only.

I don't see it on their list of videos yet, but they've had a flood of webinars over the last month. If you email Heather Walsh to ask about it, maybe it'll let her know that there's enough interest to prioritize it: edmonton@cba-alberta.org
