"Acting like Lawyers: Code of Conduct and Standards for Lawyers acting for Children."

Are there certain duties and responsibilities we have when acting for children? Should there be specific duties when acting for children? Are there necessary requirements to take on the role of legal counsel for children? Are specific skills necessary to properly do our job? We will discuss what currently exists and consider what should be codified in any new Code of Conduct or other requirements set out to act for children.
