NEW WEBSITE TOOL: Parenting Time Calculator

The Parenting Time Calculator is a much faster and more accurate way to calculate parenting time to find out if the 40% shared parenting threshold has been exceeded, particularly if you also want to take into account summer and holiday parenting time, since the Guidelines look at the whole year.

Just choose the length of the regular rotation, then click each time that there's an exchange on the calendar, then adjust holidays, and then it'll spit out several calculations and a pie chart.

The additional data can also be used to address a Contino analysis, especially where you're close to the 40% threshold but one parent still buys most of the meals and performs most of the travelling to school.

Since it's a new tool and quite complex, please let me know if you experience any bugs.

Hi Ken, this is restricted to lawyers. Is it possible for Psychologists to view also?

The link should be accessible for you now. Let me know if this is something that psychologists would find useful, in which case I can add a link to it in the navigation at the top of each page.
