Cyndy Morin and Rowan Fisher will discuss how separation and divorce can impact immigration status and what provisions are in place for victims of domestic violence. Also included will be a brief summary of how criminal charges relating to domestic violence may impact the immigration status of a perpetrator of domestic violence. Amy Munroe will provide important information on identifying domestic violence situations when working with clients and share the experience she has had with immigration in the context of her work with Sagesse.
