Presentation no. 1 - A continuation of views from the bench: practical tips for advocacy; the judgment-making process, and what counsel can do to contribute or thwart it. Topics will include: Practical tips for advocacy; the judgment-making process, and what counsel can do to contribute or thwart it.
Presentation no. 2 - Updates on Mobility Applications: This presentation will include a discussion of recent case law on mobility applications, the effect of recent amendments to the Divorce Act on cases and practice, and what factors to consider when representing parents and children in these applications. We will also hear about how and when mental health professionals can assist in mobility applications.
