Free rapid access counselling

 view Arbitrator profile
  BARR LLP
   Edmonton, Alberta

The province is funding free 75-minute counselling sessions in collaboration with The Family Centre in Edmonton (who used to facilitate PAS) and Kindred in Calgary. They're available for parents, couples, or families with minor children, or for children. They can focus on "parenting, relationships, mental health, grief, stress, and more."

Looking at their calendar, they have same- or next-day availability during the week. Clients can book either through:
a) https://rac.janeapp.com/
b) by calling 1.877.244.2360; or
c) through a Family Resource Network location

For more information, see https://www.racalberta.ca/

Is this a resource for clients in Edmonton or is it offered Province-wide with video meetings available?

It sounds excellent and could hopefully help the clients I'd some non-legal issues early in the process

Looks like it's all virtual, so I assume province-wide
