Last day to register to vote at the CBA AGM Feb 4th

Family Lawyer CBA Members - just a reminder that this is the last day to register to vote on Resolutions at the CBA National AGM on Feb. 4th noon to 4pm ET (10-2pm MT).

The Family Section is asking for support for a Resolution on Model Code Amendments (following YEARS of work on these issues with the Child & Youth Section and the Ethics Committee) -- and trying to keep the work alive and give the CBA a mandate to engage with the Federation of Law Societies on amendments.

There is also a Resolution tabled by the Child & Youth Section re Section 43 of the Criminal Code - the use of "reasonable force to discipline children" and a Resolution regarding Articling.

The CBA is a stickler re prior registration 48 hours before to be able to vote (every year there is a big problem with people coming to the AGM not having pre-registered and not being able to vote).
