Considering hiring a summer or articling student?

Every second year Ashley Cox and I teach the Advanced Family Law course at the UofA, and we let our students know who's hiring. They're a mix of 2Ls and 3Ls. Please let me know if your firm would consider hiring a summer student or articling student, so that I can pass it along to them.

Keep in mind that if they're a second year student and you're in Edmonton or Calgary, you can't offer an article until 8am on June 10, 2025, and it has to remain open for at least 24 hours.

Hi Ken,

We'll be recruiting at McCuaig Desrochers during the "articling week" process in June, for articling students starting in 2026. We should have updated info on our website right away, and will provide our job posting to Career Services also and signed up to the viLaw portal ASAP.
