Child Welfare Trial Advocacy Seminar

Hello all, there is new training opportunity coming up for those who practice in, or are interested in practicing in, Child Welfare. Attendance will be recognized by Legal Aid and LRCY as CPD hours.

We will focus on the practical skills and legal (evidentiary) knowledge necessary for running Child Welfare trials.

This seminar is free to attend and occurs on Saturday, September 20th from 9-4 PM at the Peter Lougheed Centre (U of A Campus). Virtual attendance will be facilitated by Zoom.

Speakers will be Idowu Ohioze, Elizabeth Kinhnicki, Cindy Turner KC, Dustin Tkachuk, and Chelsey Grue with additional remarks from the Bench.
