Colleagues - we finally have confirmation that the Ahluwalia SCC decision (on the tort of family violence) will be released on Friday, May 15th.

The CBA National Family Section has re-scheduled our "brown bag" webinar on Ahluwalia a few times but it is now confirmed for May 20th at 10am to 11:30am MT (noon ET). FREE for CBA members and only $60 for non members.

Speakers include Counsel from both sides (Julie Hannaford and Geoff Carpenter), an Intervenor (Anna Matas) and Prof. Rollie Thompson.

Please join in on the discussion -- it should be interesting as everyone is expecting a split decision.
