Event: New resource for working with clients from immigrant communities (Community Initiatives Against Family Violence, Alberta)

Join Naheed Amjad-Minhas the chair of IFVPC & Programs Lead at IFSSA and Taouba Khelifa, the Communications Lead at IFSSA for the launch of the online module called Understanding Family Systems in Immigrant Communities.

This is the first module in a course designed to assist service providers improve their ability to understand and support clients from immigrant communities. The next module will focus on Coercive Control in immigrant communities..

This course is made possible through the work of the Immigrant Family Violence Prevention Committee (IFVPC), in partnership with Islamic Family & Social Services Association (IFSSA). It has been funded by the Community Initiatives Against Family Violence (CIAVF).
